Golden Ring Tours

A trip to the Golden Ring is the quickest way to escape the crowds of Moscow and enter a fairy tale world of onion domes and mystical icon paintings. Golden Ring tours can include the towns of Suzdal, Vladimir, Rostov, Yaroslavl, Sergiev Posad, and more. Each picturesque town has its own unique features, although all of the locations make for absolutely charming vacation destinations.

Golden Ring Trips

One of the oldest and most well-preserved buildings in the Golden Ring is the Kremlin (fortress) of Suzdal, dating back to the 10th century. The Golden Gate of Vladimir houses a museum that recalls the Mongol invasion, which left little more in the town standing than the gate itself. It is one of three World Heritage Sites within walking distance of each other. Rostov was built upon Lake Nero, making its absolutely enormous citadel even more beautiful to explore and photograph. In addition to many ancient holy sites, Yaroslavl can show you a bit of modern Russian life as well. It’s one of the biggest cities in the Golden Ring and sits on the Volga River. In Sergiev Posad enjoy the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, a monastery with both gold and blue domes that dates back to 1345.

Vacation Packages

Not all of the sites of the Golden Ring are easily accessed, nor are they easily seen in a short period of time. A private tour is a good way to ensure that you see everything in this historic region according to your schedule. On a Volga cruise, you can travel to these towns in a unique and tranquil way. Cruises are available all year and have various durations; chances are, we can accommodate your requests. Step back in time and visit as many cities as you like by selecting from the tours below.
